Jebel Jais is one of the most scenic destinations in the country for a Huracán. Book the STO, arrive at sunrise, and take your time with the views and the photos — the drive up is memorable at any speed and the scenery is the point, not the pace.

Sheikh Zayed Road is the signature Dubai cruise. The Revuelto looks extraordinary on the stretch between Dubai Marina and the Abu Dhabi border, and the road rewards a composed, relaxed drive at the posted limit more than it does anything else. Watch the fixed cameras carefully; the overhead gantries have a small tolerance above 120 km/h and fines escalate quickly.

Al Qudra is a peaceful alternative to the city — a 90 km stretch of desert highway south of Dubai Sports City, with minimal traffic, lunar scenery, and the best sunset photos of any road near Dubai. Take the Urus for a morning or late-afternoon cruise, stop for photos, head back.

A few practical notes before you pick up any Lamborghini in Dubai — most apply to any supercar rental, not just ours.

Licence requirements: UAE residents need Emirates ID and UAE licence. Tourists need their home-country licence plus an International Driving Permit (IDP). There is no wiggle room on the IDP requirement for any car over 400bhp.

Minimum age is 25 for the Huracán EVO and Urus, and 27 for the Huracán STO and Revuelto. This is insurance-driven — the liability cover becomes prohibitive for younger drivers on cars this fast.

Salik is the Dubai toll system. AED 6 per gate crossing, passed through at cost at the end of the rental.

Speed cameras are extensive, fixed and mobile, and fines are real money. The published limit on Sheikh Zayed Road is 120 km/h with a 20 km/h buffer — anything over 140 triggers the cameras. Drive to the limit, not beyond.
