About Mercedes Car Rental Dubai
Our Mercedes offering in Dubai is focused on the single most-requested Mercedes in the entire Gulf rental market: the Mercedes-AMG G63.
The G63 is the AMG version of the G-Class — a 4.0-litre twin-turbo V8 producing 577bhp, wrapped in the boxy military-inspired silhouette that has become the unofficial logo of Dubai itself. It's tall, heavy, loud, and absolutely unmistakable in traffic. 0-100 in 4.5 seconds, a top speed of 220 km/h (electronically limited), and the distinctive side-exit exhaust that makes it recognisable by sound before you see it.
Inside, the G63 is a luxury cabin. Nappa leather, heated and cooled seats, massage functions on the higher spec, Burmester audio, and a digital cockpit that makes the old G-Class's dashboard seem like a different century. The driving position is high enough to see over every other car in Dubai traffic, which is genuinely useful on Sheikh Zayed Road during rush hour.
From AED 1,800 a day. Delivered to your Dubai address with a full walkthrough of the G63's driving modes (Comfort / Sport / Sport+ / Individual), the low-range transfer case, the differential lock controls, and the off-road modes. Most G63 customers never use the off-road features, but they're there if you want to take it out to the desert.
We rotate the G63 through detailing between every rental. The car is one of the most frequently booked in our fleet during peak months (November to March) and we recommend booking at least one week in advance to secure specific dates.
Every rental includes comprehensive insurance and a full handover walkthrough. Delivery across Dubai is free on monthly rentals; daily and weekly rentals carry a flat AED 110 delivery + AED 110 pickup surcharge. No hidden fees.

Complete guide to driving in Dubai as a tourist. Licence requirements, speed limits, Salik tolls, parking, fuel prices, and tips to avoid fines.
The Mercedes-AMG G63 is, by a significant margin, the most popular luxury SUV in Dubai. You cannot drive from Dubai Marina to DIFC without seeing multiple G63s in the traffic around you, and the car has become a cultural icon for the city in a way that almost no other vehicle has. Mercedes car rental in Dubai is, for a significant percentage of customers, specifically about renting this one car.
Mercedes car rental Dubai customers fall into four categories. The first is the visitor who has seen the G63 in Dubai Instagram content for years and wants to experience it first-hand. For them, a three-day G63 rental is often their single most important booking of the whole trip — it's the car they came for.
The second is the returning G63 owner — someone who has one back home in London, Moscow, or Beirut and wants to drive their usual car in a new city without the hassle of flying their own. The ride height, the driving position, the exhaust note — all of it should feel identical to their car at home, which is exactly what they want.
The third is the family or group that needs a large, comfortable, high-seating SUV for a Dubai visit. The G63 has genuine rear legroom, will seat four adults plus luggage for a week, and looks right outside any Dubai hotel. For family visits from the Gulf and wider Middle East, it's often the default choice.
The fourth is the business traveller who wants presence. A G63 in valet at the Address Downtown tells a different story than a G-Wagon or a Range Rover Vogue does. It's the car for a specific kind of arrival.
The G63 is not a technical-road car — it's a presence car, a distance car, and a versatile car. The roads that suit it are the ones where you want comfort, height, and the unmistakable V8 soundtrack.
Sheikh Zayed Road is the obvious one. The G63 cruises effortlessly at 120 km/h, the cabin is well-insulated, and the driving position gives you perfect visibility over Dubai's other cars. This is the defining G63 road in the city.
Jumeirah Beach Road is the scenic drive. The G63's presence and the top-down coastline view (on the way up from Jumeirah through Palm Jumeirah) make this a genuinely enjoyable route for the G-Class in a way that tight sports cars don't match.
Hatta mountain loop is where the G63 earns its off-road heritage. The road out to Hatta Dam is paved all the way, but the scenery and the gravel-shoulder detours to viewpoints reward the Mercedes's genuine all-terrain capability. The V8 noise echoing off the mountain walls on the Hatta approach is one of the classic Dubai driving experiences.
Al Qudra is the desert alternative. 90 km of empty highway south of Dubai Sports City, minimal camera density, and the kind of open space that lets the G63 find its cruising stride.

Practical notes for renting a Mercedes G63 in Dubai.
Licence requirements: UAE residents need Emirates ID and UAE licence. Tourists need their home-country licence plus an International Driving Permit.
Minimum age is 25 for the G63.
Salik is Dubai's toll system. AED 6 per gate, passed through at cost.
Speed cameras are extensive. The G63's V8 will happily cruise at 160 km/h without feeling fast — watch the speedometer actively. 140 km/h is the practical ceiling on Sheikh Zayed Road given the +20 buffer on the published 120 km/h limit.
Abu Dhabi day trips are fine. The G63 handles the Ghantoot border run without drama. Bring IDP, budget for Salik, consider the unlimited-mileage upgrade for the round-trip.
Parking — the G63 is 5 metres long and 1.98 metres wide, slightly larger than most Dubai luxury SUVs. All hotel valets accommodate it, but some underground car parks with low ceilings or narrow bays may not — if you're unsure about parking at your destination, send us a photo on WhatsApp and we'll confirm before pickup.

Our standard reservation fee is AED 495 at booking, deducted from your total on pickup day. A refundable damage deposit (AED 1,800) is held on your card at pickup, or you can skip the hold entirely with our no-deposit surcharge of AED 200. The no-deposit option is the most popular choice on G63 rentals because the damage hold would otherwise tie up nearly AED 2,000 of your credit limit.
The minimum age is 25 for the Mercedes-AMG G63. This is the standard threshold for most of our fleet. Tourists also need a valid International Driving Permit in addition to their home-country licence.
Yes — our insurance covers the whole UAE. Abu Dhabi is 1.5 hours each way from Dubai Marina. The G63 is particularly well-suited to this trip — the V8 is ideal for long highway cruising, the cabin is comfortable for the round-trip, and the ride height makes rush-hour traffic easier to navigate. We recommend the unlimited-mileage upgrade for Abu Dhabi round-trips since the round-trip exceeds the standard 250 km/day allowance.
Cancellations more than 24 hours before the rental start receive a full refund of the reservation fee, usually within 5–10 business days. Cancellations within 24 hours or no-shows forfeit the AED 495 fee. G63 is a high-demand vehicle so the cancellation policy is applied strictly — we often turn away bookings for each G63 slot that is held but then cancelled late.
Yes — comprehensive insurance is bundled into every daily, weekly, and monthly rate. No add-ons, no tiered coverage. First-loss excess is typically one day's rental (AED 1,800 on the G63). An excess-waiver package is available for an additional daily fee if you want to reduce the first-loss amount.
Light off-road use (gravel shoulders, desert edges, paved mountain roads) is fine. Serious off-road use (deep desert dune bashing, proper rock crawling, beach driving in soft sand) is not permitted under our rental terms — the insurance does not cover it and any damage from serious off-road use would be the renter's liability. The G63 is absolutely capable of those conditions, but renting one for them is the wrong vehicle agreement. If you want proper desert driving, contact us for a dedicated dune-bashing arrangement.
Yes — the G63 is one of our more frequently-booked wedding cars, particularly for the groom's party and for arrival-at-venue presence photography. The colour options (black, white, matte grey) all photograph well, and the boxy silhouette is unmistakable in wedding video. For wedding bookings we can arrange white-glove delivery to the venue, a uniformed chauffeur as an add-on, and floral-arrangement brackets. Contact us directly on WhatsApp with your date, venue, and timing and we'll quote a full package.
